CONTINUING EDUCATION WITH
Me Corinne Lambert

We wish to inform you that the next AJHQ-HJAQ Continuing Education Seminar will take place on Thursday, June 2, 2022, online, from 12:30 to 14h00. The seminar will be 1.5 hours and free of charge for our members in good standing and only 60$ for all the other participants. Due diligence in occupational health and safety (CNESST's powers to issue statements of offence against employers in OHS matters, the concept of due diligence as a defence generally presented by employers)

Me Corinne Lambert is a lawyer who has specialized in occupational health and safety law for over 20 years. </em

After training in litigation with the Commission de la santé et de la sécurité du travail (CSST, now CNESST), Mtre Lambert honed his skills with a firm specializing in the management and prevention of employment injuries before opening his own firm in January 2010.

Mtre Lambert's particular experience gives him exceptional competence in inspection-prevention, corporate criminal law and the defence of their interests in the face of an ever-increasing number of requests for correction, statements of offence and penal and criminal proceedings instituted by the Commission and other competent authorities in this field.

She has extensive experience as a litigator before the Tribunal administratif du travail (formerly CLP) and the Court of Quebec, penal and criminal division, but stands out for her intimate knowledge of the complex workings of the Commission and its due diligence requirements to mount a valid defense to criminal proceedings. This particular advantage allows him to obtain advantageous settlements for his clients and to reduce the fines claimed, thus saving them significant time, effort and money.

Her judgment, integrity and efficient approach to compensation officers and other decision-makers at the CNESST, the Direction de la révision administrative (DRA), as well as before the Tribunal (TAT), are also appreciated in the management and compensation of occupational injuries.*

Finally, invited to offer conferences, she distinguished herself with the Centre patronal de santé et sécurité du travail by addressing The trial! A story ... almost true! At the 15th CNESST Grand Rendezvous and at the 38th AQHSST Congress, the employer's duties were also presented.
