ABOUT US
Established in 2015, the mission of the Hellenic Jurists Association of Québec (HJAQ) is:
MISSION
To promote, encourage and favour the study of the law amongst all jurists in Quebec of Hellenic origin.
ADMINISTRATION
Organize events and training in order to refresh, update and/or enhance, as the case may be, the legal knowledge of its members
COMMITEES
Provide for the supervision of young lawyers and to involve members on subjects of importance to the Hellenic Community of Quebec
MENTORSHIP
This service offered by the Hellenic Jurists Association of Québec is intended to provide guidance to our members and to provide them with assistance regarding their career development and the challenges they may face in their profession.
Under strict confidentiality, the HJAQ will pair a mentor, admitted to the Québec Bar or the Chambre des notaires for more than ten (10) years, with a colleague (mentee) for a pre-determined period of time that will not exceed one (1) year.
To promote, encourage and favour the study of the law amongst all jurists in Québec of Hellenic origin.
To organize events and trainings in order to further enhance our judicial knowledge
To provide mentoring for young jurists and to implicate the members in subjects of importance for the Hellenic Community of Québec.
